Common faults and troubleshooting of diesel pump
I. engine cannot start:
(1) check whether the engine oil is in air?
(2) check whether the fuel valve is open?
(3) check whether there is fuel in the tank.
(4) check whether the fuel oil is mixed with water?
(5) check whether the injector is stuck. (follow the procedure below)
1. Remove the high-pressure tubing from the injector or injection pump. Pull the starter to make the engine run, and tighten the high-pressure oil pipe again after the oil discharge port is full.
2. Check whether the oil tank or other oil road switches are in the open position.
3. Open the lid and check whether the fuel is sufficient.
4. Check the bottom of the tank or the diesel oil in the tank out of the container.
5. Remove the fuel injection pump to check whether the injector is rotating flexibly and whether the nozzle is blocked.
2. The pump cannot pump water:
(1) check whether the pump body is filled with water.
(2) check whether the filter is blocked.
(3) check whether the connection hoop of inlet water pipe is leaking due to loose installation.
(4) check whether the inlet pipe is leaking due to damage.
(5) check whether the suction range is too high?
Also need to pay special attention to the water tank water problem, must always check the water tank whether to reach the specified water level, otherwise it will affect the normal operation of the cooling system and cause pump failure.
